Several villages liberated in Ladakh region during 1971 war

Strategically located Turtuk lies in the vicinity of the Line of Control between India and Pakistan. In this region, the mainstay of the predominantly Balti Population &nbsp;is Agriculture and Horticulture.&nbsp; In the battle of Turtuk, seven villages were liberated. AOR news spoke to Mr Goba Ali who was a young boy at the time of liberation, who lives in the last village Thang, a familiar name in Turtuk, Mr Goba Ali recalls early days of liberation.<br />”<br />”Goba Ali also recollects his vivid memories of his association with All India Radio of his early days in India.
