<span style="color: #222222;">Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has said that lockdown like restrictions have been extended for 15 more days. The strict restrictions which are currently in effect in the state were to end at 7 am of 1st June. However, they have been further extended till June 15, 2021. The chief minister said relaxation will be given by taking into consideration the COVID situation in respective districts. He said the decision on class 12 board exams in the state will be taken soon. He said he will write to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Centre on formulating a uniform academic policy for the entire country by taking into account the importance of examinations such as NEET, SET and JEE in the future prospects of the students.<br />''<br />''Telangana government has decided to extend the COVID lockdown for ten more days.
