Many parts of Odisha is experiencing rainfall since last night following the depression over west-central Bay of Bengal. According to Bhubaneswar Meterological office, the system crossed Andhra Pradesh coast near Bapatla this morning and moved further towards northwestwards weakening into a well marked low pressure areas. Under its impact, rain or thundershower with wind speed of 45 to 55 kmph is likely to occure at many places of Odisha with heavy rain fall at one or two places during the next 24 hours. As the sea condition will be rough to very rough, fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea.
