Several MLAs of Telangana region decide to resign from AP Assembly

In Andhra Pradesh, several MLAs belonging to Telangana region across party lines have announced their decision to resign from Assembly protesting against the terms of reference of the SriKrishna Committee. Responding to the call given by the all-party Telangana Joint Action Committee to quit, several MLAs including from the ruling Congress party have come forward to tender resignations to the Assembly Speaker N Kiran Kumar Reddy. While all the 10 MLAs of TRS have announced their intention to tender resignations, four Congress MLAs including former Minister Damodar Reddy and three MLAs from TDP are also following the suit. However, they are yet to tender their resignations to the Speaker. The MLAs from Telangana belonging to other parties are divided on resigning from the Assembly or boycotting the assembly session beginning tommorrow.<br/>
