Both the Houses of Parliament have been adjourned till noon today on several issues. As soon as the Lok Sabha met for the day, members from Tamil Nadu were on their feet on the issue of the release of the convicts in the assassination of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
JDU members rushed to the well demanding special status to Bihar. Samajwadi Party members wanted passage of Communal Violence Bill.
Before Speaker Meira Kumar took up the question hour, Congress member from Tamil Nadu Vishwanathan loudly protested against the Tamil Nadu government's decision to release the convicts of Rajiv Gandhi.
Following unruly scenes, the Speaker adjourned the House for one hour. In the Rajya Sabha, the situation was no different.
As soon as the House met, members from Andhra Pradesh rushed to the well raising slogans on Telangana issue. Samajwadi Party members were on their feet to press their demand for inclusion of certain backward class castes in the Scheduled Castes category.
