In Afghanistan, a combined patrol of the NATO and Afghan Force patrol killed several insurgents in Ghazni and Uruzgan provinces in the last two days. A press release issued by International Joint Command in Kabul on Friday said, the patrol force detained suspected insurgents and their facilitators during their operations in Kabul, Uruzgan and Ghazni provinces. Some arms and ammunitions were also recovered from the insurgents during operation.In Sangin district of Helmand province, coalition force patrol discovered a large cache of bomb and IED-making materials on Thursday. All the items seized were safely destroyed.
