<span style="color: #222222;">The promotion of digital payment is one of the priorities of the Government to facilitate hassle-free and seamless banking transactions for the people of the country. <br />''<br />''In a written reply in the Lok Sabha, the Minister of State for Finance Dr Bhagwat Karad said several initiatives have been taken by the Centre through its various programmes and agencies, Reserve Bank of India and Banks to promote and create awareness about digital payments in the country. He said as a result of the initiatives taken, there has been robust growth in the digital payment acceptance infrastructure across the country.</span><br />
