In Afghanistan several fuel tankers caught fire near the NATO coalition Force's warehouse in Kabul on Thursday evening. A press release issued by International Joint Command says quantity of fuel destroyed in the fire could not be known immediately. But reports indicate that as many as 10 fuel tankers may have been damaged. Local Afghan firefighters rushed to the spot of fire and with the assistance of the NATO coalition firefighters brought the fire under control. There are no reports of casualties. Afghan authorities are investigating in incident to determine the cause of the incident, but initial indications are that the fire was accidental and not related to insurgent activity.
