Several countries have expressed their reactions on US missile strike on a military base in Syria.<br/><br/>Britain, Australia, Turkey, Israel and Saudi Arabia gave their support to the US . Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull said the strike is a proportionate and calibrated response to the use of chemical weapons. <br/><br/>UK Government spokesman said, British Government fully supports the US action. Saudi Arabia said, it fully backs a US air strike on a Syrian government airbase in retaliation for a suspected chemical weapons attack on a rebel-held town. Turkey said US missile strikes against the Syrian air base is a positive action. <br/><br/>Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his country fully supports President Trump's decision.<br/><br/>Russia says, US missile strikes on a military airfield in Syria violates international law and represents an act of aggression against a sovereign state under a far-fetched pretext. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov today said that Washington inflicts considerable damage to US-Russia relations. <br/><br/>Iran denounced the strike and said such unilateral strikes and other measures will strengthen terrorists in Syria and will complicate the situation in the region. Indonesia has said Military actions, undertaken without prior authorisation of the U.N. Security Council, are not in line with international legal principles in the peaceful settlement of disputes, as stipulated in the U.N. Charter. Greece said it is strongly against any military intervention in Syria as it could hamper peace efforts.
