Several areas in Delhi flooded as Yamuna flows 2 meters above danger mark

In the national capital, the water level in Yamuna continued to swell menacingly, reaching nearly two metres above the danger mark, threatening to submerge more localities.The rising Yamuna flooded several parts of Delhi including Garhi Mandu, Usmanpur Pusta, Jagatpur Village and Shastri Nagar. Areas near the ISBT were also flooded, prompting thousands of people to stake shelter in government relief camps and in higher areas.Northern Railways has cancelled 25 trains and diverted 36 others due to the rising flood waters in the Yamuna river.
