Seventeen states and six Ministries and Departments tableaux will participate in the Republic Day Parade this year. Briefing media in New Delhi today, a Defence Ministry official said, each tableau depicts its own story to portray themes ranging from art form, folk culture, flora and fauna and achievements. Tableaux like Digital India, Swachh Bharat will also be the part of the celebration. More than 1400 artists, fabricators and designers living in the special artist village are involved in making of these tableaux.
