In Jammu and Kashmir, seven militants were killed by army in two separate encounters in frontier district of Kupwara yesterday. Three militants were killed in the morning after alert troops foiled the attempt of militants to sneak into army camp at Langate. They were engaged by the troops guarding the camps and later eliminated in a search operation. <br/><br/>Four more militants were killed in Naugam sector near the Line of Control later in the day where an operation was on after foiling an infiltration bid. There are no reports of any casualties to the security forces in these encounters.
