A suspected Taliban suicide bomber killed seven people outside the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex in Kamra, some 75 kms northwest of the capital, Islamabad. According to official sources, the bomber detonated explosives strapped to his body when security personnel stopped him at a checkpoint. Those killed include two security men. The attack came a day after an army brigadier and his driver were killed in a drive-by shooting in Islamabad. At least six people, including two suicide bombers, died in twin attacks at an Islamic University in the capital on Tuesday.<br/><br/>Taliban militants have stepped up attacks on urban targets as the Pakistani military continues a major offensive against the insurgents in their strongholds in South Waziristan, near the Afghan border.<br/>
