Seven killed in earthquake in southeastern Iran

In Iran, seven people were killed in an earthquake measuring 6.5 on the Richter scale that struck Iran's southern province of Kerman last night. Iran's official news agency, IRNA quoted Kerman Governor General Esmail Najjar as saying that considering the dimension of the damage, the death toll is expected to rise. There have been six aftershocks so far, with the biggest measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale.
