In Assam, seven persons, including the driver of a passenger-carrying cruiser van died on-the-spot in a tragic road accident at Bijoynagar in Kamrup district on Monday.Three seriously wounded have been admitted to the Guwahati medical College and Hospital. The ill-feted bus was proceeding to Sontoli in the same district from Guwahati. The accident occurred when the speeding vehicle hit a tree after losing its control.
