In Iraq, at least seven persons were killed and 50 others wounded in the blast that took place in Karbala today. Voice of Iraq news agency quoting medical sources has reported that all injured were taken to al-Hussein hospital. It added that the number of casualties is likely to increase as some of the wounded are in critical condition. The powerful blast occurred this morning in Fariha region. Karbala is 110 km southwest of Baghdad.<br/>
