In China, seven people including a criminal suspect have been killed and 28 others njured in a knife attack in the northwest Xinjiang Region. Local authorities said, two criminal suspects hijacked a truck at a crossing in Kashgar city's Meishi street last night when the driver was waiting for green light. After stabbing the driver, they drove the vehicle towards the crowd and knifed them, leading to the deaths and injuries. One of the suspects died during the victims' self-defense, while the other was nabbed. Police have beefed up security throughout the city.
