In Bihar, seven hardcore Maoists have been arrested from different places in Rohtas district during the last 24 hours. Over a dozen countrymade pistols and several cartridges were recovered from their possession. AIR Patna correspondent reports that one of the arrested maoists was involved in the murder of Bikramganj Dy. SP Akhileshwar Prasad Singh on 2nd April, 2006 and Tarari SHO Raj Kishore Sah on September 11, 2006.The District Superintendent of Police, Manu Mahraj said that, the Maoist area commander Sudarshan Ram, along with four accomplices was planning an operation at Dehri-on-Sone. The police conducted a raid in which Ram and his four accomplices were arrested. Arms and ammunition were recovered from their possession. In another incident two Maoists were arrested by a joint team of the CRPF and Cobra battalion at Chutia in Rohtas district
