Seven elephants were killed when a goods train hit them at Dooars in North Bengal. The Incident occurred last night when a herd of elephants were crossing the railway track. Five elephants died on the spot while two succumbed to injuries later. The State Forest Department has ordered an enquiry into the tragedy.
