In Sikkim , seven persons lost their lives in a bridge collapse at Rangchang khola in East district Monday afternoon.The dead were on board a Container truck loaded with machines which fell down while passing over the bridge. The relief and rescue work by the police, fire brigade, and the Border Roads Organisation personnel is being carried out on a war footing.AIR Gangtok correspondent reports that this is the second major accident in the State within the last five days.
