Seven coaches of Kannur-Bengaluru Express train derails in Karnataka, No casualty reported; Railway

<span style="color: #222222;">In Karnataka, the Kannur-Bengaluru Express train derailed in the early hours today between Toppuru-Sivadi section in Bengaluru Railway Division. The derailment of seven coaches has not caused any injuries to the passengers. The Bengaluru Division has issued a release that all the stranded passengers have been safely evacuated from the accident spot and shifted by buses. The seven derailed coaches have been cleared and the four coaches in the front are rolled out of the spot. The Divisional Railway Manager and Additional Chief Medical Superintendent from the Salem Division visited the spot and have confirmed that no injury or casualty to the passengers is reported. However, due to derailment, two trains between Yeshvantpur and Salem were canceled and four trains from Coimbatore, Ernakulam, Bengaluru, and Mysuru were diverted to other routes.
