In Iraq, at least seven civilians were killed and 14 were wounded in an armed attack in northern Baghdad today. Voice of Iraq news agency quoting police sources reports, the incident took place when unknown gunmen attacked a marketplace of al-Jawadeen neighborhood in al-Shuaala region of northern Baghdad. The attackers used light weapons and hand grenades to steal a jewelry store. The dead include two women and a child. The attackers managed to loot a number of jewelry stores and fled.
