In Uttar Pradesh seven more children have succumbed to Japanese encephalitis and acute encephalitis syndrome at Baba Raghav Das Medical College Hospital Gorakhpur. <br/>Quoting official sources our Lucknow correspondent reports the toll due to the deadly disease has reached to 281 till now in this year. 35 fresh cases of the deadly disease were admitted in BRD Medical College Hospital and district hospitals of Gorakhpur and Basti divisions since last 24 hours.<br/>Health department officials inform a total of 314 patients of suspected encephalitis are at present being treated at various district hospitals in the region.<br/>More than 1,814 children suffering from encephalitis had been admitted in the medical College at Gorakhpur and other hospitals since the beginning of the year.<br/>
