In Madhya Pradesh, the state high court has vacated the stay on installation of set-top boxes in Indore , Bhopal and Jabalpur . A division bench comprising acting chief justice K K Lahoti and justice M A Siddiqui vacated the stay granted on 15th April this year to the execution of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting order for mandatory digitization of cable television. The petitioner had alleged that enough set-top boxes were not available in these cities. Now cable subscribers can view the television channels only after installation of a set-top box in these three cities.
