DMK President and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi has asserted that the set back to the party in the last assembly polls is temporary and would be overcome soon. Addressing the Executive Meeting of the DMK in Coimbatore, he said, the party survived even the worst situation during the emergency period. The meeting was held closed door and the leaders were reluctant to make any comment. The discussions will continue in the General Council meeting today.
