In Gujarat, an Ahmedabad Sessions Court today reserved its order on the bail plea of suspended IPS officer Sanjeev Bhatt till the 17th of this month.Bhatt was arrested on the 30th of last month for allegedly forcing a junior officer to file a false affidavit against Chief Minister Narendra Modi.AIR Ahmedabad correspondent reports that Bhatt is in judicial custody after an Ahmedabad district court had rejected his police remand. Earlier, Bhatt had filed an affidavit in Supreme Court alleging complicity of Chief Minister Narendra Modi in the post-Godhra riots. Later, he was charge sheeted by the state Government and suspended for alleged unauthorized absence from duty.
