Series of strategic decisions on Afghanistan in process: Obama

br/US President Barack Obama has said that his administration is in the process of making a series of strategic decisions with regard to Afghanistan. Obama told this to a joint press conference following his meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper at the White House. He said the strategies aim to dismantle the Al Qaeda and the Taliban network in the country.br/br/Meanwhile, US Senator John Kerry, Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said at a Congressional hearing that the United States should set realistic goal to prevent the Taliban and al Qaeda from making the country their safe haven.br/
