Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has said that series of measures have been taken to restore the normalcy in flood ravaged Vadodara city and the situation would become normal very soon. <br />'' <br />'' He was speaking to media persons after visiting flood-affected areas of Vadodara city last evening. <br />'' <br />'' Expressing concern over one inch rain in Vadodara on Friday, Mr. Rupani said that if no further rain occurs then the situation would become normal from today. He said that water level in Vishwamitri river in the city and in Ajwa dam has gone down and flood water from the city also receding. <br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, rain has continued to lash many parts of South Gujarat and Saurashtra. Mandvi in Surat district and Rajkot in Saurashtra region have received maximum 5 to 7 inches rainfall during the last 24 hours. AIR correspondent reports that state and district administration have taken series of steps to restore normalcy in the flood-hit Vadodara.  <br />'' <br />'' Electricity has been restored in most parts of the Vadodara city and now efforts are being made to restore the supply of drinking water. District administration along with Municipal Corporation has launched cleanliness drive in the city. <br />'' <br />'' Total 11 teams of NDRF and 6 teams of SDRF are still deployed in the city which had rescued and shifted more than 9000 people from low lying areas. Rescue works now almost over and authorities are focusing on health and medical services to the affected people. <br />''  <br />
