A series of earthquakes ranging from 6.7 to 2.9 in Richter Scale jolted Assam and most of the North East yesterday, causing damage to buildings and forcing people to scamper out of their homes.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The CEO of the state Disaster Management Authority G D Tripathi said yesterday that no casualty has been reported due to the earthquake but few persons sustained injuries.
