In Russia, two people have been killed and 28 others injured in a series of explosions in the troubled North Caucasus republic of Ingushetia. According to Russian News Agencies, at least three blasts rocked a derelict house in Ingushetia's largest city of Nazran on Friday morning as police were inspecting the site. <br/><br/>A spokeswoman for the Ingush investigative committee, Svetlana Gorbakova said the explosions killed one local and a police officer. He said another 28 people including the city's police chief Kazbek Latyrov and the head of the city's investigative committee, Mikhail Nalgiyev were wounded in the incident. <br/><br/>Russia's volatile North Caucasus republics, particularly Chechnya, Dagestan and Ingushetia, have been plagued by violence stemming from militants and criminal gangs. The government is struggling to contain the insurgency.
