Serena Williams has lifted the women's singles title of Australian Open Tennis for the sixth time. World's number one American Serena defeated second seeded Russian Maria Sharapova in the final by 6-3, 6-7. This is Serena's 19th Grand Slam title. In the men's singles World's number one Serbian Novak Djokovic will take on Britain's Andy Murray tomorrow. In the mixed doubles final, India's Leander Peas and Switzerland's Martina Hingis will clash with Costina Mednovik of France and Daniel Nester of Canada.
