Defending champion and top seed Serena Williams has won the Australian Open women's title for the fifth time. In the final in Melbourne today, she defeated Belgium's Justine Henin 6-4, 3-6, 6-2. The American claimed her 12th Grand Slam with this win. Williams also won in the women's doubles with her sister Venus.Leander Paes will aim to break the hodoo and equal the record of most number of Grand Slams won by an Indian in the mixed doubles final of the Australian Open in Melbourne tomorrow.If Paes and his Zimbabwean partner Cara Black succeed in lifting the title, it would be their second Grand Slam victory together and Paes' fifth overall in mixed doubles. The Indo-Zimbabwean pair will face 10th seeds Ekaterina Makarova of Russia and Jaroslav Levinsky of Czechoslovakia.Swiss star Roger Federer will meet Britain's Andy Murray in the Men's Singles final of the Australian Open on Sunday.
