In Tennis, world number one and defending champion Serena Williams today stormed into the final of the Australian Open, the first Grand Slam of the season. She defeated fourth seed Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland, in straight sets, 6-0, 6-4. Serena is now just one step away to win her seventh Australian Open and 22nd Grand Slam title. In the Final, Serena will take on the winner of the other semi-final between Angelique Kerber and Johanna Konta. In the Men's Singles, world number one Novak Djokovic will clash with third seed Roger Federer in the semi-finals today. Both players have met 44 times in the past, and each have won equal number of matches. The second semi-final is slated between world number two Andy Murray and Milos Raonic. Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis, who advanced to the Women's Doubles Final yesterday, will face each other in the Mixed Doubles quarter-finals today. Sania and her team-mate Ivan Dodig are the top seeds in Mixed Doubles, while Hingis has been paired with Leander Paes.
