Serena Williams and Roger Federer have lifted the Cincinnati Open Singles Tennis trophies in Ohio. In the finals yesterday, while second seed and world number three Federer came back from a set behind and defeated Spaniard David Ferrer, 6-3, 1-6, 6-2, world number one Serena sailed past Serbia's Ana Ivanovic, in straight sets, 6-4, 6-1. Federer has won the Cincinnati Open all six times he has reached the tournament's title match. For Serena, this was her Maiden Cincinnati title.
