Serbia arrests key war crimes fugitive Ratko Mladic

Serbian authorities have arrested the key war crimes fugitive Ratko Mladic, the former commander of the Bosnian Serb Army. At a special news conference on Thursday, Serbian President Boris Tadic confirmed the arrest of Mladic.Mladic has been on the run since 1995, when the UN war crimes tribunal indicted him on genocide charges for the Srebrenica massacre of 8,000 Muslim males. He was also wanted for other atrocities committed during the Bosnian conflict of the 1990s.
