The BSE benchmark Sensex gained by 75 points to 20,361 in afternoon trade today on sustained buying by funds and retail investors triggered by a firming trend on other Asian bourses. Earlier, in the morning, the Sensex had opened with a gain of 138 points.The wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty rose by 12 points to 6,199 .
