Erasing initial losses, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock exchange was trading 64 points in the positive zone at 17,837 in late morning deals. Earlier, the volatile 30-share index fell by nearly 23 points in early trade largely in tandem with weak trend on other Asian bourses.The wide-based Nifty of the National Stock Exchange rose by 22.45 points to 5,412.65 points.In the Asian region, the Hong Kong's Hang Seng index shed 0.03 per cent, while Japan's Nikkei was quoted 0.15 per cent higher in early trade on Tuesday.
