The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex which recovered by over 112 points in opening trade today is now up by 54 points trading at 18140 points a short while ago. In a similar manner, the wide-based National Stock Exchange Nifty index is also up by 8 points to 5,428.35.In the Asian region, Hong Kong's Hang Seng index rose by 0.25 per cent, while Japan's Nikkei edged higher by 0.51 percent in morning trade today. The US Dow Jones Industrial Average ended 0.65 per cent higher in yesterday's trade.
