The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex which rebounded by almost 305 points in opening trade on Tuesday was trading over 485 points at 16536 a short while ago. Likewise, the wide-based National Stock Exchange Nifty Index also moved up by 142 points, at 4,977. In the Asian region, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index rose by 2.44 per cent and Japan's Nikkei Index by 1.80 per cent in morning trade today. The US Dow Jones Industrial Average closed 2.53 per cent higher on Monday.
