The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange rose 43 points, or 0.2 percent, to close at 19,348, amid firm European market, on Tuesday. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange gained 18 points, or 0.3 percent, to 5,889. Stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore and South Korea ended mixed.
