The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange was trading 316 points in the positive territory, at 21,312 in late morning trade, when reports last came in. The 30-share index had surged by 487 points in opening trade today, to hit a new record high of 21,484.The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange was trading 96 points up to 6,356.
