Sensex up by 26 pts

The BSE benchmark Sensex, which opened 97 points in the red today, recovered fully and was trading 26 points in the positive territory at 16,739 when reports last came in. The 30-share index had lost 108 points in the previous session on Monday.In a similar fashion, the wide-based National Stock Exchange Nifty index was up by 10 points at 5,027 points a short while ago.In the Asian region, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index fell by 1.02 per cent, while Japan's Nikkei Index shed 1.40 per cent in morning trade on Monday.
