The benchmark BSE Sensex rose by 223.86 points, or 0.69 per cent, at 32,613.82 in early trade. The rupee weakened by 7 paise to 65.11 against the dollar in early trade today due to increased demand for the American currency from importers.The dollar was firm against some global currencies which weighed on the rupee, but a higher opening of the domestic equity market capped the losses.
