The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange jumped 197 points, or 1.1 percent, to again close above the 18,000-level, at 18,045, on Thursday, lifted by some encouraging corporate results, and positive global markets. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange rose 63 points, or 1.2 percent, to 5,412.Stock markets in Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, and South Korea rose between 0.2 percent and 2.8 percent.
