Snapping three days of losses, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange gained 184 points, or 1 percent, to 18,596, amid rising Asian and European markets, on Wednesday. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange rose 59 points, or 1.1 percent, to 5,585.
