At the stock markets, both the Sensex and the Nifty rose to fresh all-time intra-day peaks, today. So the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange hit an intra-day record high of 33,815, and had later gained 125 points, to 33,811, a short while ago. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange had climbed 26 points, to 10,478, after earlier scaling a lifetime intra-day high of 10,481.And at the forex market, the rupee weakened 13 paise, at 64.68 against the dollar, in afternoon deals.
