The Sensex that opened over 119 points higher today was trading 111 points up at 18317 a short while ago. The 30-share barometer, had gained over 367 points in the past two sessions. In a similar fashion, the wide-based National Stock Exchange Nifty index was trading 36 points up at 5,516.Asian market commenced higher following a firm closing in the US market last night. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index was up by 0.59 per cent and Japan's Nikkei by 0.22 per cent in early trade today. The US Dow Jones Industrial Average ended 0.56 per cent higher in yesterday's trade.
