Sensex up by 110 pts during noon

In the opening trade today, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange fell 33 points, or 0.2 per cent, to 19,469, But it rebounded smartly after the announcement of the RBI's policy review, and stood 110 points, or 0.6 per cent in the green, at 19,612, a short while ago.In opening trade, this morning, Sensex fell on investor caution ahead of the Reserve Bank's first-ever mid-quarter monetary policy review. Other Asian bourses in Japan, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and China were down by between 0.1 per cent and 2.5 per cent.
