Rebounding from early losses, the Sensex stood 104 points, or 0.7 percent in positive territory, at 16,112 in afternoon trade, a short while ago.Earlier in the morning, however, the Sensex had declined 159 points, or 1 per cent, to 15,850 in opening trade, amid weakness in the regional bourses.Other Asian markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan were down by between 0.1 percent and 3.5 percent.Stock fell after global ratings agency, Standard & Poor's cut the credit ratings on 15 big banking companies, mostly in the Europe and the United States, including Bank of America, and the Goldman Sachs Group.
