At the stock markets, both the Sensex and the Nifty again scaled fresh record intra-day peaks in afternoon trade today.Later, after retreating somewhat, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange gained 100 points to 31,816. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange climbed 44 points to 9,815.And at the foreign exchange market, the rupee depreciated one paisa to 64 rupees 54 paise against the dollar in afternoon deals.
